Our work resides where environmental and social justice intersect. Communities of color are often on the front lines of climate crises as well as being affected most by the failure of infrastructure in our cities, food deserts, and pollution. We believe everyone has a right to abundant and nourishing food grown from healthy soils as well as clean drinking water. Returning land to caring Indigenous hands and stewardship is the first step towards repairing the harms of colonization, supporting biodiversity, and restoring equilibrium to our ecosystems. Centering TEK, we’re forging pathways that allow for the most vulnerable members of our communities to connect to natural processes and environments, to heal, and to play a role in the restoration of communal well being.
